Versitron® Shortened Clamping Shield. For use on all Versitron® Rockwell Hardness Testing Test Frames with or without the MT2 Automatic Test Cycle Drive. The shortened clamping shield, while similar in configuration to a standard fully enclosed clamping shield, features a slightly shorter length overall which allows for production testing without the need to clamp each part and as such serves to protect the indenter in these situations. Shortened clamping shields are silver in color so easily distinguish them from other clamping shields.
